Villa Clementina on Lake Bracciano... in the heart of Etruria land

Lake Bracciano is an oasis of peace and culture: immersed in a natural park at 35 km north of Rome, in the heart of the Etruria land ( the region lived by the Etruscans centuries before the Romans ) it's rich in history with enchanting archeologic sites such as Sutri, Monterano and Cerveteri.

After your "bath" in history you can enjoy the blue waters of the lake with its small beaches. Waters are highly preserved because of the presence of numerous drinkable springs and they provide large part of Rome with the aqueduct ... so no motor boats will disturb this paradise while you are swimming or sailing. At the end can we suggest something special ? ... a horse riding at the sunset on the hills of Monterano or a painting class in the "riserva di Martignano"...

The medioeval castle Odescalchi in Bracciano is one of the most beautiful and best preserved in Italy, so that is choosen for "dreaming" wedding by famous actors ( the last is Tom Cruise ). The castle can be visited with a guide every day except monday.

If you feel "full" of this peace and you'd like to plunge in the "greatness" of Rome there is a modern train that will catch you to "caput mundi" in 40 minutes.
